Bradford Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join our exceptional team. 

After repeatedly getting voted best animal hospital in the region, we are growing quickly and looking for a 3rd veterinarian to work either full-time, part-time, or steady relief.

We are looking for a candidate that is reliable, a team-player, and communicates well.  While surgical skills, or the desire to practice them, are completely welcomed, they are not required. We want you to only do what you feel comfortable doing!

We are a fun, family-focused and non-corporate small animal veterinary hospital located in  Bradford, Massachusetts, an easily traveled suburb in the Merrimack Valley (about 35 minutes north of Boston). Work-life balance is of the upmost importance to us.  We have short weekday hours and only half-day rotating Saturdays; a full time schedule for a veterinarian is 32-36hrs (4 days a week).

Say goodbye to those late work nights -- with our clinic policy, the final client leaves the hospital at 5pm, and the staff is typically out the door by 5:30pm.   You also can write your notes from home (with or without a glass of wine) if you prefer! No overnight coverage or responsibilities. 

We practice high-quality medicine while keeping costs at an affordable level for our clients.  Since the clinic went under new ownership 5 years ago, we have consistently won Best Animal Hospital in the Merrimack Valley.  Being one of the sole remaining privately owned veterinary clinics in the area, we strive to satisfy our clients, as well as our staff, in ways that the larger corporations are unwilling to do.

We currently staff 2 full-time veterinarians, in addition to hosting an Internist, Cardiologist, and an Orthopedic Surgeon that frequent our clinic on a weekly basis. We have at least 2-3 highly-skilled technicians per veterinarian to take as much of the load off of our veterinarians as possible.

We offer a brand new high-end ultrasound machine, in-house laboratory and IDEXX, Cornerstone digital records, radiocautery, digital dental and digital full-body radiography, and tele-ability to access work-stations from home.  We are also happy to purchase any tools and/or medications that our veterinarians would like to use. 

Bradford Animal Hospital is in a beautiful area of  the north shore of Massachusetts, located in the Merrimack Valley in the Bradford section of Haverhill, MA.  We are directly off of I-495, making the commute very easy from various locations. We are just a short drive away from Andover, North Andover, Newburyport, Merrimack, and the New Hampshire border.  Commuting from locations closer to Boston is also very easy given the reverse commute.

Veterinary diploma.  Ability to communicate well with clients, practice quality medicine, be reliable, and be friendly and kind with the staff. Surgical skills are a plus, but not required if not comfortable.  We all love to teach each other, and learn from each other.
