Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center is looking for an equine surgeon to join our team of California veterinarians. Our primary surgery center is based out of our hospital located near Sacramento, CA with boarded specialists in surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and sports medicine. Our caseload primarily consists of general surgery, emergency surgery, and lameness. Cases come from a wide variety of disciplines.  Our team has a collaborative approach to surgery and medicine that includes daily rounds and weekly journal clubs. We have a strong emphasis on teaching with 12 house officers including 8 interns and 4 residents.
