Key Responsibilities

Perform pre- and post-race examinations

Conduct regulatory veterinary inspections

Assist with sample collection and testing procedures

Ensure compliance with state racing and veterinary regulations

Collaborate with racing officials and track staff to uphold safety standards

DVM or VMD degree

Eligible for Iowa veterinary licensure
